Cruz Beckham's Intimate Notting Hill Gig Moves Sister Harper to Tears
Harper Beckham moved to tears by brother Cruz's gig

An intimate London performance by Cruz Beckham became a deeply emotional family affair, leaving his younger sister Harper moved to tears. The 20-year-old musician took to the stage in front of friends and family, marking a significant milestone in his budding music career.

A Sister's Heartfelt Tribute

Victoria Beckham, 51, proudly shared a gushing tribute written by her 14-year-old daughter, Harper. Harper wrote that she shed 'a few tears' of pride while watching her older brother perform on Wednesday night in Notting Hill. Her message reflected on Cruz's musical journey, from solitary practice sessions with his guitar to commanding the stage with his own band.

"I am beyond proud of you Cruz and how far you have come," Harper expressed. "I am so so proud to call you not just my brother but my role model." She continued, marvelling at his transformation, stating she couldn't believe her brother was now a 'rockstar'.

A Star-Studded Venue for a Family Affair

The special gig was held inside the former Laylow building in Notting Hill, a venue once frequented by A-list celebrities including Rihanna, Madonna, Kate Moss, Cameron Diaz, and Mick Jagger. Although the celebrity hotspot closed down two years ago and is currently on the market for just under £6 million, it provided the perfect backdrop for Cruz's performance. The Beckham family had booked out the entire venue for the occasion.

Cruz performed with his band, The Breakers, treating the audience to his latest single, the explicit track 'Optics', which explores themes of drugs and sex.

Family Support and a Spice Girls Moment

Victoria Beckham was a visible and supportive presence in the front row, capturing clips of her son singing while playing the guitar. She later posted online, gushing, "Wow!!! You look so happy Cruz and we couldn't be prouder we love you."

The evening also featured a romantic gesture from David Beckham, who presented Victoria with a bouquet of pink roses. Victoria humorously queried on social media, "Is it because you like my singing? I love you David Beckham." This was a reference to a video Cruz had previously shared of himself and his mother singing an acoustic version of the Spice Girls' hit 'Viva Forever'. Fans were quick to suggest the duet could be a contender for Christmas number one.

Cruz's music career is gaining serious momentum. Last month, it was reported that he had signed with the top music management company C3, which has worked with US indie group The Strokes, and he has been spotted in the recording studio, signalling more music to come.
