Gigi Hadid's father Mohamed suffered a hilarious faux pas by sharing an AI-generated photo of his daughter which he believed was her at the Met Gala. The property mogul, 77, branded the fake look a 'classic Hadid moment' as he gushed over her white and gold outfit, which was created using artificial intelligence.
The synthetic image showed 'Gigi' in a dramatic gown with puff sleeves and a long train on a stunning dress, decorated with a floral gold pattern. In the now-deleted image, the woman had her hair sleeked back into a neat bun and the outfit was completed with a selection of gold jewellery. Alongside the selection of pictures, Mohamed had written: 'She looks like she came out of a frame from the museum. A classic Hadid moment.'
Mohamed wasn't far off with his statement, as the photo was a piece of art - just a computer-generated one. After Mohamed accidentally shared a fake image of Gigi, it was later revealed that she actually attended wearing a sparkling sheer dress. Gigi boldly flashed her underwear in a completely sheer black Miu Miu dress with strategically placed decorations to preserve her modesty. Rather than the slicked back bun as worn by the AI woman, Gigi wore her blonde locks loose in a bouncy blow out with subtle make-up.
Fans quickly noticed that the father of five had made a huge error, claiming that he 'doesn't even recognise his own daughter'. She beamed as she blew out the candles on her cake alongside her rarely-seen daughter Khai, five, who she shares with ex Zayn Malik. Cuddling Khai, Gigi enjoyed a stunning birthday brunch at her home as she gave fans an insight into delicious food spreads and mimosa ice box. The star also shared a snap of her cake, which Khai had iced writing 'Happy birthday Mommy!' Gigi captioned the post: 'Every year Luckier ! Thank you for all the wishes from near and far.
