Georgia Toffolo delighted her Instagram followers on Tuesday with a cheeky video capturing an amorous moment with her husband James Watt during a weekend retreat in Hampshire. The couple, who tied the knot in March 2024, appeared more in love than ever as they enjoyed a countryside walk at the luxurious five-star Heckfield Place hotel.
A Romantic Countryside Escape
The former Made In Chelsea star opted for a casual yet chic outfit, wearing a white long-sleeved top paired with beige shorts and a matching scarf. James, the co-founder of BrewDog, wrapped his arm around her as they strolled through the scenic grounds. The pair were seen laughing and sharing a kiss, with Georgia playfully jumping into her husband's arms at one point.
Heckfield Place, a restored Georgian family home, offers rooms starting at £750 per night, but prices have surged to £7,500 for the bank holiday weekend, according to the hotel's website. The venue describes itself as "a lovingly restored Georgian family home at the heart of our working estate, redefining the idea of a hotel."
Car Row Caught on Camera
In another clip shared by Georgia, James accused the reality star of "shouting at him" during a car journey to the country house. Seated in the passenger seat, Georgia exclaimed, "AHHHH not funny!" She captioned the post: "The version that didn't make it @captainjameswatt I look genuinely upset AND VERY SERIOUS."
Despite the playful squabble, Georgia gushed about the trip, writing: "Weekends like these are the whole point." The couple's getaway comes amid a challenging period for James, whose brewing empire faced significant financial troubles.
BrewDog's Downfall and Personal Struggles
James Watt came under fire earlier this year when BrewDog racked up debts exceeding £500 million before collapsing into administration. The company, once valued at £2 billion, was sold to Tilray Brands in a £33 million rescue deal. Irwin Simon, Tilray's CEO, publicly criticised James's tenure, calling his reputation a "stigma" for the brand. James, who co-founded BrewDog in 2008, was reportedly "heartbroken" by the acquisition, which led to the closure of 38 UK bars and the dismissal of 484 staff.
Georgia has previously opened up about the toll these events have taken on their lives, particularly as they try to start a family. In a candid Instagram post, she shared: "I'm sitting here thinking about the year. We've had so much stress. I'm sure you guys have seen it all, public stuff like the BrewDog stuff has been really difficult to navigate."
Baby Journey and Emotional Honesty
The couple, who married in Scotland in March 2024, have been trying for a baby for five months without success. Georgia admitted her naivety, saying: "I really did just think that if you're super fit and healthy like us you get pregnant really quickly, but it isn't always the case." She described the experience as "lonely and crazy," especially during the two-week wait between ovulation and her period, where symptoms can be misleading.
Georgia expressed frustration that the BrewDog fallout may have contributed to their struggles, saying: "On top of my naivety... sometimes there's just a lot of stuff going up that's biological - but I think all of it coinciding..." Despite the challenges, she remains hopeful and continues to share her journey with fans, thanking them for their supportive comments.
The couple's love story began years before their wedding, and they have faced both public and private hurdles together. This weekend getaway served as a reminder of their bond, even amid the chaos of James's business collapse and their ongoing fertility journey.
