Ruby Wax's Camp Theft Spree Revealed by Evicted I'm A Celeb Star Eddie Kadi
Eddie Kadi exposes Ruby Wax's I'm A Celebrity antics

Fresh from his eviction, comedian Eddie Kadi has revealed the extraordinary off-camera antics of fellow campmate Ruby Wax on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!. The 42-year-old, who became the second contestant voted off the ITV show on Sunday night, painted a picture of the 72-year-old broadcaster as a mischievous 'Queen Mother' figure who brazenly helped herself to other celebrities' belongings.

The Sock-Stealing Saga

In an exclusive interview, Kadi detailed how Wax had been pilfering items from her campmates, seemingly without remorse. "Ruby's been nicking stuff off other people, she doesn't care," he stated. "Her bag is full with other people's things." He specifically cited model Vogue Williams as a victim, claiming the presenter had lost all her socks to Wax, who allegedly proudly showed off her haul.

The thefts reportedly escalated from socks to more substantial items. Kadi recalled an incident where Wax was seen wearing one of Vogue's boots, which was noticeably too long for her foot. When he pointed out her awkward gait, her response was characteristically blunt: "Just keep walking, your job is just to keep walking." This led Kadi to humorously suggest that if anyone had smuggled contraband into the camp, it might well have been Ruby.

The 'Queen Mother' and 'ASBO Grandmother'

Kadi described the unique dynamic Wax created within the jungle camp. On one hand, she commanded a regal, matriarchal respect. "Ruby in there is, like, she is the Queen Mother. Like, Ruby can do whatever she wants, because we all want to look after her," he explained. This status allowed her to get away with behaviour that would otherwise raise eyebrows, such as drinking from Vogue's water bottle with a dismissive "Oh dear, come on, she'll be fine."

Yet, simultaneously, Kadi likened her to an "ASBO grandmother" – a mischievous elder leading others astray. He painted a vivid picture of her quirky style, which included tucking one trouser leg into her sock, and her assertive attitude. "You go shoplifting with and you're like, 'I don't want this life no more' and she's like, 'shut up, you're going back in'," he joked, capturing her formidable and playful spirit.

Camp Dynamics and Future Trials

Despite her antics, Wax has reportedly formed strong bonds with younger campmates, including social media star 'Angry Ginge' and etiquette expert Tom Read Wilson. In fact, Read Wilson's mother revealed on This Morning that her son was a long-time fan and had been eager to befriend Ruby from the start.

Kadi's revelations come as Wax faces her own jungle challenges head-on. She was set to confront her fear of snakes in the 'Misfortune Tellers' trial on Monday night's episode, a task described as containing 'every critter under the sun'.

The comedian also weighed in on the camp's recent butter mystery, confirming that only olive oil was served with toast, distancing Ruby from that particular contraband speculation.

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! continues nightly on ITV1 at 9pm and is available to stream on ITVX.
