Helena Sauzier Welcomes Baby Boy Luca with Husband Tom Slingsby
Bachelor Star Helena Sauzier Announces Birth of Son Luca

Reality television star Helena Sauzier has shared the joyful news that she and her husband, Olympic gold medallist Tom Slingsby, have become parents for the second time. The couple welcomed a baby boy earlier this week.

A Heartfelt Social Media Announcement

The 30-year-old former Bachelor contestant took to Instagram on Monday to reveal the arrival of their newborn son. She posted a tender, black-and-white photograph capturing the cherubic infant, named Luca, sleeping peacefully in her arms. The image radiated the calm and happiness of the new mother.

In the caption accompanying the photo, Sauzier expressed the overwhelming love she and Slingsby feel for their new addition. "And yet again, our hearts double in size. When 3 becomes 4," she wrote. She concluded the message with a direct address to her son, stating, "We are soooo in love with you Luca."

Flood of Congratulations from Friends and Fans

The announcement was swiftly met with an outpouring of love and congratulations from Sauzier's circle of friends and followers. Notable figures from the entertainment world were among the first to offer their warm wishes.

Journalist Melissa Hoyer commented with an excited "Wow! Huge congratulations!" accompanied by prayer hand and heart emojis. Fellow Bachelor franchise alumna Brittany Hockley wrote, "Congratulations you guys – he is divine and a lucky boy!"

Chelsie McLeod, who was the winner of Matt Agnew's season of The Bachelor, in which Sauzier also starred, also shared her delight. "Congratulations, beautiful mumma!!! Delicious little squish," McLeod posted.

Growing the Slingsby Family

Baby Luca is the second child for Sauzier and Slingsby. The couple welcomed their first son, Leo, in 2023. At the time, Sauzier introduced her "little lion cub" to her Instagram followers with a similarly heartfelt post.

The pair, who tied the knot in a romantic ceremony aboard the superyacht Ghost II in February 2023, have quickly expanded their family. Helena Sauzier first found fame on season seven of The Bachelor Australia, where she made it to the final three contestants vying for astrophysicist Matt Agnew's heart. She later appeared on Bachelor in Paradise.

Her husband, Tom Slingsby, 41, is a decorated sailor with an illustrious career. He is a Medal of the Order of Australia recipient, an Olympic gold medallist from the London 2012 games, and a key strategist for the America's Cup-winning Team Oracle USA in 2013. He also skippered the yacht Perpetual LOYAL to victory in the gruelling 2016 Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race.
