Alan Carr's Hilarious Beach Gymnastics Fail & AI Physique Joke Go Viral
Alan Carr's Beach Gymnastics Fail & AI Joke on Instagram

Comedian and Celebrity Traitors winner Alan Carr has delighted his fans with a series of hilarious Instagram posts from his sun-soaked holiday, featuring a failed gymnastics attempt and a cheeky AI-generated joke about his physique.

A Beach Tribute Gone Wrong

The 49-year-old funnyman first shared a playful clip paying homage to the hit series Heated Rivalry. In the video, Carr danced energetically along the beach in a crop top to Madonna's classic track 'Like A Prayer'. The dance was a direct nod to a similar routine performed by Heated Rivalry star Connor Storrie. However, Carr's attempt to cap off the performance with a forward roll ended abruptly, with the video cutting out just as he tumbled.

Not one to hide his mishaps, Carr followed up with a second, even funnier video. This clip showed him lying completely motionless on a surfboard, being pushed out to sea. He captioned the post 'For anyone asking xx', providing a self-deprecating conclusion to his athletic efforts.

Poking Fun with AI on the High Seas

During his beach break, Carr continued the laughs by sharing a side-splitting AI-altered image. The first photo showed him relaxing on a boat, wearing a pair of bright pink Speedos and a chiffon beach kaftan, humorously reenacting the iconic 'I'm flying' scene from Titanic.

The comedian teased fans in the caption, urging them to 'Swipe to see the front'. The next slide revealed an AI-generated version of the same scene, but this time displaying Carr with a heavily toned, muscular torso and impressive abs. Among the many amused comments was one from his ex-husband Paul Drayton, to whom he was married for three years, who quipped: 'Cerise really suits you!! x.'

Reflections on Trust and Past Relationships

This lighthearted holiday content comes after Carr opened up about more personal struggles. While chatting to his friend Amanda Holden on their BBC show Amanda & Alan's Greek Job, the comedian reflected on his past.

He admitted to having been 'walked over' and demeaned in previous relationships, expressing a wish that he had been stronger and bolder. Carr confided that his biggest hurdle now is trust, stating: 'I don’t really trust anyone, really. That’s the trouble. I think that is my main thing.'

Carr was in a relationship with Paul Drayton for 14 years before they married in a 2018 ceremony officiated by singer Adele. The couple announced their amicable separation in January 2022, divorcing later that year. In his own statement at the time, Drayton revealed he had proactively checked into rehab for alcoholism, seeking help after a challenging period.
