In a major policy announcement, Labour's Shadow Education Secretary Peter Kyle has revealed ambitious plans to overhaul the UK's struggling education system. The proposals come as schools across Britain face mounting challenges, from crumbling infrastructure to chronic teacher shortages.

Speaking exclusively to Sky News, Kyle painted a stark picture of England's schools, describing them as being pushed to breaking point after years of Conservative underfunding. The shadow minister outlined three key pillars of Labour's education strategy:
