A heartbroken family has paid tribute to a 'caring' couple who tragically died after their car veered off a road and crashed into trees in Kent. Craig Pangrazi-Simpson, 64, and his wife Elizabeth, 60, were killed in the collision on the A228 Pembury Northern Bypass, between Tonbridge Road and Old Church Road, shortly before midday on May 18.
Fatal Collision Details
Kent Police confirmed that a silver Renault Megane traveling from Pembury towards Whetsted left the carriageway on the nearside, entered woodland, and struck trees. Craig, the driver, sustained fatal injuries and was declared dead at the scene. Elizabeth, the passenger, was airlifted to a London hospital but later passed away.
Family Tributes
Elizabeth's sons, Josh and Jake, described the couple as 'two of the kindest, happiest and most loving people you could ever meet.' They said: 'They were both incredibly bubbly, caring, and always brought warmth and laughter wherever they went. Family meant everything to them, and they would always go above and beyond for others. Their loss has left a huge void in all of our lives, and they will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved them.'
Craig's daughter, Millie, remembered her father as a 'happy, kind, gentle man' who was 'popular and loved by everyone he met.' She added: 'His kindness, warmth and constant effort will always be remembered and deeply missed. My dad was one of the first people in my life to make me feel safe, understood and deeply loved. Even though we hadn't spoken in a while, my love for him remained. May my dad and his wife, Elizabeth, rest in peace.'
