Correction on Royal Navy Helicopter Crash Article Misdescription
Correction on Royal Navy Helicopter Crash Misdescription

Corrections and clarifications have been issued regarding two articles about a fatal Royal Navy helicopter crash. The articles, published on 5 June (page 6) and 4 June (page 5), incorrectly described the Merlin Mk4 helicopter involved as “primarily used for anti-submarine warfare.” This description actually applies to the Merlin Mk2 variant. The Mk4, which was conducting a training exercise at the time of the accident, is an amphibious battlefield helicopter mainly used for troop deployment.

Other recently amended articles include: “Three studies used by RFK Jr and allies to justify controversial vaccine policy changes facing new scrutiny.”
