Judge spares TikTok influencer £15k private jet bill after police flight from Spain
TikTok influencer spared £15k private jet bill by judge

A TikTok influencer who fled the UK for a year, forcing police to charter a private jet to bring him back from Spain, has been spared the full £15,000 cost of the flight by a judge.

The Flight and The Ruling

Harrison Sullivan, the 24-year-old fitness influencer known online as HSTikkyTokky, was eventually detained in Spain in August 2025. Surrey Police then arranged a chartered flight at an approximate cost of £15,000 to return him to the UK, Staines Magistrates’ Court heard on Thursday 15 January 2026.

However, District Judge Julie Cooper ruled she was not prepared to order Sullivan to repay the full flight cost, declaring the use of a private jet was "not necessary or proportionate".

"In my view, it is not just or reasonable for him to pay for a chartered flight when I have been given no satisfactory explanation for why that should be," Judge Cooper stated.

A Year on the Run and a McLaren Crash

The court heard that Sullivan had received a suspended sentence in November 2025 after pleading guilty to dangerous driving and driving without insurance. This followed a crash in his McLaren in Virginia Water, Surrey, in March 2024.

Data from the vehicle showed he was travelling at 71mph in a 40mph zone at the moment of impact, with witnesses reporting speeds of at least 100mph prior to the crash.

After the incident, Sullivan failed to appear in court for 12 months, travelling to Dubai, Thailand, and Spain while continuing to post on social media.

Confusion Over Police Decisions

The prosecution explained that the decision to use a private jet followed a risk assessment by the National Extradition Unit (NEU), citing concerns the well-known influencer could be recognised by the public on a commercial flight.

Judge Cooper expressed confusion, noting: "It seems that Mr Sullivan travels around on planes with impunity without too much risk to himself, so I don’t really understand." She suggested a first-class seat could have mitigated any issues.

Defence solicitor Shalin Sood said her client was "surprised by the private jet" and had been compliant. Questioning the extensive international investigation, which involved Interpol, she remarked: "It’s not rocket science trying to locate where Mr Sullivan is, judge – he livestreams everyday."

The Final Bill and Future Appearances

While excused from the private jet fee, Sullivan was ordered to pay a total of £17,320.27 in costs. This comprised £9,270 for the prosecution and £8,050.27 for police costs, bringing the total expense for his return to the UK to £28,350.27.

Despite his solicitor claiming his £2,000-a-week income was inconsistent, Judge Cooper gave him six months to pay, referencing his properties in the United Arab Emirates.

His sentence includes a one-year suspended custodial sentence, a two-year driving ban, an electronic tag for three months, 300 hours of unpaid work, and 30 days of rehabilitation.

Sullivan is also reportedly set to feature in a Netflix documentary by Louis Theroux exploring online misogyny, having previously made inflammatory remarks online.
