Three pupils have reportedly been stabbed at a school in Manchester, prompting a lockdown and a major emergency response. The incident occurred at Co-op Academy in Blackley, where around six police cars and a helicopter were deployed. Ambulance crews treated the victims at the scene.

Parents reported that students were sheltering in their classrooms as police responded to what they described as a 'serious incident'. Greater Manchester Police confirmed that a schoolgirl has been arrested in connection with the stabbings. However, authorities stated that the injuries sustained by the victims are not believed to be 'serious'.
