Two young girls reported missing in Stoke-on-Trent have been found safe, Staffordshire Police have confirmed. Jade, nine, and Shania, 12, were last seen riding an e-scooter together in the Chell area at around 4pm on Friday, prompting a public appeal.
Police had expressed concern for the girls' welfare and urged the public to help locate them. A force spokesperson said: 'We’re concerned about the whereabouts of two girls from Stoke-on-Trent, and we need your help in trying to find them.' The girls were believed to be missing together.
In a separate incident, Lincolnshire Police are searching for two missing teenage girls, Ava and Lexi, who were last seen buying train tickets at Spalding Station on February 5. They are thought to have travelled to Cambridgeshire and may now be in Cornwall, with police describing their behaviour as 'out of character'.
Officers have released descriptions of the teenagers: Ava may be wearing glasses, a black Zanetti jacket, grey tight bottoms, red, black and white trainers, and carrying a grey backpack. Lexi may be in a black jacket with 'KWD' on the breast pocket, tight black bottoms, white trainers, and a Marvel backpack featuring Captain America.
Additionally, police are seeking information on a woman named Natalia, last seen walking near Sluice Bridge in Boston on January 23. She is described as in her mid-forties, with long blonde hair, about 5ft 7ins tall, of medium build, and Ukrainian with a scar above her eyebrows. CCTV footage of a man who may have vital information has been released.
