Tributes to Gino Robb After Byker Murder

Floral tributes have been left outside The Raby pub on Shields Road in Byker for Gino Robb, a 25-year-old man who died after a suspected stabbing. Emergency services were called to the scene at around 7.25pm on Tuesday, June 16, where Robb was found with serious stab injuries. He was taken to Newcastle's Royal Victoria Infirmary but died shortly after. His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by officers.

Tributes and Messages

Bunches of flowers, balloons, and messages have been placed outside The Raby pub, where Robb is believed to have sought medical assistance before paramedics arrived. Love your Mother xx." Another tribute from his sister reads: "To my brother. 'Guess there's no more pocket for me.' Love you Bro. Love Giselle xx."

Police Appeal

Detective Chief Inspector Mark Atherton of the Major Investigation Team said: "Our thoughts are firmly with Gino’s family and loved ones after the tragic events of Tuesday evening. We continue to provide them with all possible support and request that their privacy is respected at this difficult time."
