Woman Pronounced Dead Near Chepstow Road

The woman, who has not been formally identified, was sadly pronounced dead a short distance away, near Chepstow Road. Her family has been informed and is being supported by specialist officers. St Vincent Road has been closed at both ends, at Rodney Road and Corporation Road, due to the major police incident, according to Newport city councillor Farzina Hussain.
