Lewis Hamilton has announced that he will adopt a "different approach" for the upcoming Canadian Grand Prix following a disappointing performance at the Miami Grand Prix. The 41-year-old driver's Ferrari sustained significant damage after a first-lap collision with Franco Colapinto, which adversely affected his race pace.
Hamilton eventually finished sixth in Miami, having been upgraded from seventh place due to a post-race penalty applied to his teammate Charles Leclerc. Describing the weekend as "tough to take," Hamilton emphasised that it would not "define" his team, expressing confidence that they would learn from the experience and move forward.
Currently, Hamilton sits fifth in the championship standings, 49 points behind the leader, Kimi Antonelli. Looking ahead to the Canadian Grand Prix, Hamilton is determined to bounce back with a revised strategy, aiming to close the gap at the top of the standings.
