Sunday Brunch Host Apologises Over Guest's 'Bloody' Comment

Sunday Brunch host Tim Lovejoy was forced to issue an apology on the Channel 4 programme after a guest inadvertently broke the show's rules by using the word 'bloody'. The incident occurred during a live broadcast when comedian Amy Gledhill, who is currently appearing on the new series of Taskmaster, was discussing her upcoming stand-up tour, 'Thanks For Having Me'.

As Gledhill described her plans for the tour, she exclaimed: 'Do you know what? We're going to have a good time. We're going to have a bloody good time.' She continued enthusiastically, but Lovejoy quickly interjected: 'You're not allowed to say that word, by the way. So can I just apologise?'

An embarrassed Gledhill responded: 'Oh, I apologise!' Lovejoy assured her it was 'no problem at all'. The comedian then joked: 'Oh, my goodness. I've broken a rule. I've always been a teacher's pet. I'm quite punk. Wow. I did something wild on live TV. So sorry.'
