Justin Theroux and his pregnant second wife Nicole Brydon Bloom braved a severe blizzard that blanketed New York City with 16 to 19 inches of snow on Sunday. The couple ventured out to walk their Pit Bull, named Kuma, despite the harsh winter conditions.
Snow Day Adventures in Washington Square Park
The 54-year-old actor, known for his role in Fallout and with 1.5 million Instagram followers, shared playful moments from their snowy excursion. In one snap, he posted a question mark bubble GIF over Kuma's head as the dog leaped into the air. Theroux famously adopted the female dog, whose name means 'bear' in Japanese, from Austin Pets Alive after Hurricane Harvey in 2018.
Nicole Brydon Bloom, who is 31 years old and expecting, also posted footage of their snow day in Washington Square Park. The park features a 77-foot tall arch that commemorates the centennial of President George Washington's 1789 inauguration.
Upcoming Milestones and Family News
On March 15, the couple, who have a 23-year age gap, will celebrate their first wedding anniversary. They are also preparing to become first-time parents. Last Tuesday, Bloom shared a video from their intimate baby shower held at Jac's on Bond, a NoHo cocktail bar, which included a sonogram of their future child.
In a recent interview with People, Bloom discussed her pregnancy journey. She said, 'It's going really well. I feel good. I was sick in the first trimester, so that was a bummer, but the second trimester has been going really well. I feel very lucky and grateful for that.'
She added, 'I have the most adorable little niece, and so my twin sister Christine has been really helpful with advice and baby stuff, and obviously simultaneously preparing for season two of Paradise to come out. It's a good work-life balance at the moment.'
Relationship Background and Career Updates
It remains unclear how Theroux and Bloom originally met, but they were first spotted together at a Netflix event two years ago. Theroux has previously emphasized keeping relationships private, telling Esquire, 'I want all of my relationships to exist within the four walls of whatever room we're in. Having been in a public relationship, it's much more fun not being in a public relationship.' This comment referenced his high-profile marriage to Jennifer Aniston, which ended in 2017.
Bloom has reprised her role as Agent Jane Driscoll in the second season of the post-apocalyptic political thriller Paradise, which premiered on Hulu. The show, created by Dan Fogelman, also stars Sterling K. Brown, Shailene Woodley, and other notable actors.
Future Projects and Appearances
Theroux is set to attend the world premiere of Victoria Strouse's sibling cult comedy Seekers of Infinite Love on March 12 at the SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas. He also plays Emily Blunt's onscreen husband in the sequel The Devil Wears Prada 2, scheduled for release on May 1, alongside Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway.
Additionally, Theroux will reprise his role as RobCo Industries CEO Robert Edwin House in the third season of Amazon Prime Video's Fallout. Bloom continues her work on HBO's The Gilded Age, which has been renewed for a fourth season, where she plays wealthy socialite Maud Beaton.
Other upcoming roles for Theroux include CIA case officer Van Spencer in Amma Asante's Cold War thriller Billion Dollar Spy and casino mogul Steve Wynn in the Apple TV+ biopic Wild Things about Siegfried & Roy.
