I'm a Celebrity presenter Declan Donnelly has seemingly taken Jimmy Bullard's side in the ongoing row with Adam Thomas. The heated clash has gripped viewers, with the actor once again finding himself at the centre of major jungle conflict.
Explosive Feud in the Jungle
Jimmy and Adam became locked in a bitter feud on the ITV show last night, leaving fans divided. Adam launched an expletive-filled attack on the former footballer after Jimmy decided to quit the Rancid Run trial, which involved retrieving cogs from a giant, ant-infested abacus using only their mouths. Adam was furious that Jimmy did not seem to care that quitting the trial would also take him down.
The situation escalated, forcing Ant and Dec to step in and break up the furious pair, who exchanged verbal volleys. This incident comes just days after Adam was involved in a 'bullying' row with boxer David Hayes.
Hosts Weigh In
In a new episode of the show's Unpacked spin-off, Dec defended Jimmy, with Ant nodding along in apparent agreement. "You can kind of understand Adam reacting the way he did because, like we say, he'd only just caught a break and he was having a nice time," Dec said. "He wanted to stay as long as he possibly could. But, on the other hand, you don't know what people are going through in their own heads, mentally where Jimmy was, and what people have got going on in their own heads. So, you can't fault Jimmy for that."
Fallout Continues
An insider claimed that Jimmy remains upset by the spat, even months after the spin-off was pre-recorded in South Africa. The source said: "Jimmy is devastated by it all; it was supposed to be a celebration of I'm a Celeb, but Adam appeared to have let his temper get the better of him." The source added that the former Wigan Athletic and Fulham player is "seething" following the argument.
Reports emerged that Jimmy would not attend the All Stars final to avoid an awkward reunion, but he has since spoken out, confirming he will be there. Filmed last year, the live final airs on Friday night from London.
Singer Sinitta Reacts
Singer Sinitta, also featuring in the series, took to Instagram to share her experience. She claimed the C-word was shouted during the argument. "There was a big argument, I can hear c-word, c-word, shouting c-word, you c-word. What on earth is going on?" she wrote. "And I'm also thinking - can we get on with the race because I'm winning?"
In the comments, Jimmy responded: "Wow thanks @thesinittaofficial shame that wasn't shown! My version will be told Friday! Can't wait to see you all....well some of yous."
I'M A CELEBRITY... SOUTH AFRICA airs on weeknights at 9pm on ITV.
