Clarkson's Farm Star Harriet Cowan Has Finger Stitched Back On After Log Splitter Accident

Harriet Cowan, a star of the Amazon Prime series Clarkson's Farm, has undergone emergency surgery after severing the end of her finger in a log splitter accident. The 24-year-old shared details of the incident with fans on Instagram, posting graphic images of the injury before and after surgery.

In a story caption, she wrote: 'Sorry I've been quiet! Been a c****y week. Had a run in with a log splitter chopped the end of my finger off, but a quick surgery they stitched it back on!!' The accident occurred on Monday, with one image showing her severed finger in a pool of blood. She also shared a photo of the finger after it was stitched back together and subsequent updates on the healing process.

Despite the setback, Cowan indicated she would not take much time off, as the farm is approaching one of its busiest periods. She thanked 'the amazing team at pulvertaft hand clinic' for their care. Cowan appeared in season four of Clarkson's Farm, which follows Jeremy Clarkson and his partner Lisa Hogan as they run their farm in Chipping Norton, Cotswolds. She was hired as a temporary replacement for farm manager Kaleb Cooper while he was on tour.

Since her television debut, Cowan has also worked on a new series called Farm Watch, which focuses on rural life. Additionally, she set up a private company called Farmfluence, incorporated on 1 July.
