Amazon brought its Amazon Haul shopping platform to the UK in May last year. Unlike the main Amazon storefront, which emphasises convenience and speedy shipping, Amazon Haul focuses on ultra-low prices, with some items as cheap as £1.
All products listed on Amazon Haul cost under £20, and many are under £10. The platform offers a wide range of fashion, home, electronics, lifestyle products, and more. These budget-friendly prices are achieved by sourcing directly from manufacturers, resulting in mostly unbranded or white-label items, though some big-name brands like Beauty of Joseon, Kitchenaid, and Salter are also available.
Shoppers can explore the 'crazy low' section for particularly cheap deals. For example, a pair of women's slides costs less than £3, and a pack of 15 washing-up sponges is available for £1. Discounts on larger orders are also possible.
No subscription or extra fees are required to use Amazon Haul, but there is a flat £2.99 delivery fee on orders under £15; orders over £15 qualify for free delivery. Amazon Prime's free shipping benefit does not apply to Amazon Haul.
The main trade-off is shipping speed. Amazon Haul products are shipped directly from manufacturers, typically based in China, leading to delivery times of one to two weeks, compared to same-day or up to five days on the main Amazon storefront. Returns are free but must be requested within 15 days, unlike Amazon's standard 30-day returns policy.
