Heather Rae El Moussa, the renowned star of Selling Sunset, has openly discussed her dedicated efforts to maintain her physique since becoming a mother two years ago. The 38-year-old, who stands at 5ft 7in, took to Instagram on Tuesday to share a transformative before-and-after video with her 4.1 million followers.
24-Hour Bloat Banishing Secrets
Her Instagram Reel, pointedly titled 'Everything I do to get rid of bloating in 24 hours', served as a masterclass in rapid wellness. "As someone who used to bloat super easily, and needed to get rid of it before filming or a photoshoot, here are some of my secrets to getting rid of bloat fast," the HRE Beauty founder wrote. She engaged her audience directly, prompting them to comment "BLOAT" to receive her exact routine.
Her husband, Tarek El Moussa, was among the first to show support, dutifully commenting with three clapping emojis. The couple, who celebrated their four-year wedding anniversary on October 23, are known for their strong partnership.
A Glimpse into Family Life and Fitness
Heather's social media activity wasn't limited to wellness tips. The former Playboy Playmate also shared a sweet Instastory of their two-year-old son, Tristan, posing in front of the family's new Christmas tree, which was professionally decorated by interior designer Diannette Gunewardena.
Her impeccably sculpted six-pack abs are no accident. El Moussa works closely with celebrity trainer and weight-loss coach, Paulina Hefferan, to achieve and maintain her toned frame. This professional guidance is a cornerstone of her fitness regime.
Building a Life Together
The El Moussas have been open about the work they put into their relationship, attending couples therapy twice a month. They first met on a fishing trip in July 2019. On their recent anniversary, Heather penned a heartfelt tribute to Tarek on social-media, gushing about their life together.
"We've had such a full life together already. Life can be hard, marriage can be hard," the Oppenheim Group realtor associate wrote. "And I do know there will be ups and there will be downs but it is also so beautiful to be in this life with you as my partner."
The inseparable couple welcomed Tristan naturally while undergoing IVF, meaning they still have embryos in storage for a potential future sibling, though Tarek, 44, has expressed hesitation. The Flipping 101 host also amicably co-parents two children, ten-year-old Brayden and fifteen-year-old Taylor, with his ex-wife Christina Haack.
Professionally, Heather and Tarek, along with Christina, have begun filming the second season of their HGTV reality competition, The Flip Off. This comes after their victory in the first season's finale on March 5, where they secured a $431,000 profit from their property flip, significantly outperforming Haack's $217,000 gain.
While The Flipping El Moussas will not return to HGTV, the couple is actively shopping the show to other networks. Earlier this year, Tarek faced a legal issue in Las Vegas, receiving a citation for misdemeanor battery after an altercation where he defended his father. The case was dismissed on August 5 after he completed a court diversion program that included impulse control counselling.
