Man Dies Suddenly Outside Lidl In Somerset Police Probe

A man has died suddenly outside a supermarket in Minehead, Somerset, prompting a police investigation. Emergency services were called to Seaward Way at around 5am on Saturday, May 16, after reports of a man in need of medical assistance.

The South Western Ambulance Service administered treatment to the man, believed to be in his 30s, but he was pronounced dead at the scene. Avon and Somerset Police have stated that the death is currently being treated as unexplained but not suspicious.

The man has been formally identified and his next of kin have been informed. A police spokesperson said: "Our thoughts are with them during this incredibly difficult time and they are being offered support."
