Cindy Crawford's Anti-Aging Secrets Revealed at 60

Supermodel Cindy Crawford appears to be ageing backwards with her wrinkle-free complexion and remarkably youthful appearance. After decades spent in makeup chairs and striding down runways, Cindy has mastered numerous tips and tricks to enhance her natural beauty. Now at 60 years old, she looks just as flawless as she did during her modelling heyday, and this is largely attributed to her extravagant daily routine.

A Legendary Modelling Career

Her modelling career spans over three decades, having rocketed to stardom in the late 1980s. Cindy Crawford is globally recognised as one of the most popular supermodels, having grown up in the industry alongside icons like Linda Evangelista and Naomi Campbell during the 1990s. The mother-of-two has inspired her lookalike daughter, Kaia Gerber, to follow in her modelling footsteps. She also shares a son, Presley, aged 26, with her husband, Rande Gerber.

The Daily Routine Behind Her Youthful Glow

As the supermodel celebrates her 60th birthday, many wonder what her secret is to looking incredible. Cindy credits her daily regimen of skincare, dry brushing, intermittent fasting, and consistent workouts for looking and feeling her absolute best. She launched a skincare range called Meaningful Beauty over twenty years ago in collaboration with French doctor Jean-Louis Sebagh.

Cindy asserts that using her products helps her skin feel tighter and brighter, providing the ageless glow that people frequently inquire about. 'When you feel good about yourself and feel confident, you hold your head a little higher and that’s what people really see,' she explained to People magazine, highlighting that a key ingredient in the range is Charentais cantaloupe extract.

The supermodel has previously emphasised that she remains loyal to Meaningful Beauty's sun-protectant moisturiser, which boasts anti-aging properties. 'It melts into the skin, so it works great under makeup,' she detailed regarding the winning formula.

Wellness and Fitness Regimen

Another anti-ageing wellness secret that Cindy swears by to keep wrinkles at bay is regular sessions in her home sauna. The model often shares mirror selfies after her intense gym workouts. Cindy has stated in the past that her go-to workout involves 20 minutes of cardio followed by weights three times per week, supplemented with 30 minutes to an hour of exercises like bicep curls, weights, squats, and lunges.

In addition to caring for her body and nutrition, Cindy explained that the key to staying young is prioritising mental health. Speaking on The Skinny Confidential in 2024, she said: 'I think part of being healthy is mental health and part of mental health is feeling like you are taking care of yourself and feeling good about yourself.'

'I think with women, if we feel good about ourselves we have so much more confidence and so much more to offer. We raise our hands, we volunteer, we are not hiding in the shadows.'

Nutrition and Morning Rituals

She added: 'If I'm at home I do a little bit of intermittent fasting so I don't usually have breakfast until 10am, I usually work out before breakfast.' Cindy prepares her morning breakfast shake with ingredients such as coconut milk, a quarter of a banana, a handful of spinach, mint, collagen, protein powder, flax, hemp seeds, and maca.

For lunch, the retired model typically consumes a source of protein with a salad and aims to avoid gluten-rich ingredients like pasta or bread. To conclude her day, Cindy has another source of protein accompanied by vegetables.

Sharing her step-by-step morning regime, Cindy revealed: 'I tongue scrape then I do dry brushing every morning, that's the first thing I do every morning. Then I do my own little lymphatic draining with oil, then I do Gua sha on the face, then I go outside every morning and take a jacuzzi and walk in the grass and ground myself.'
