Her mother, Maria, who died from cancer in 2020, had type 2 diabetes and had expressed concern for her daughter's health.

"When I then found out that I was pre-diabetic, that was frightening," Alison has previously shared. This diagnosis prompted an adult decision to overhaul her lifestyle, cutting down on sweets and fatty foods. Her commitment has successfully reversed the pre-diabetic condition.

A Balanced Approach to Diet and Exercise

Contrary to using weight-loss injections, which she described as too "scary" for her, Alison achieved her transformation through consistent exercise and dietary moderation. She works with her personal trainer up to four times a week for hour-long sessions when her schedule allows, and opts for walks when she is working.
