Filmed throughout South East England, the series opens with a brutal, exceptionally coordinated terrorist attack targeting the British establishment, leaving just one witness. As Carey investigates, she becomes entangled in an unfolding geopolitical crisis that threatens to corrupt the political establishment, security services, and media.
