Lisa Hogan Secures Major Television Role Hosting Farming Dating Series
Lisa Hogan, the long-term partner of Clarkson's Farm star Jeremy Clarkson, has landed a significant television presenting role. The 51-year-old former model and sculptor will host ITV's upcoming reality dating programme Farming For Love, a seven-part series inspired by the global format Farmer Wants A Wife.
A Perfect Fit for Farming Television
Dublin-born Hogan, who has been in a relationship with Clarkson since 2017 and shares his Oxfordshire Cotswolds home, brings considerable farming experience to her new position. She is already familiar to television audiences through her appearances managing the Diddly Squat Farm shop on the popular Amazon Prime series Clarkson's Farm.
"Farming is a way of life that requires resilience, patience, a lot of humour, and the same can be said for relationships," Hogan commented about her new role. "What I love about Farming for Love is how real it is – there is no hiding or skiving on a farm and that's what makes it such an honest way for people to get to know each other that has had success around the world."
She added enthusiastically: "I am really looking forward to leading this flock in their search for romance."
Series Format and Participants
The programme will follow four singleton farmers as they open their farms and lives to potential partners, offering viewers an authentic glimpse into both modern relationships and contemporary British agricultural life. The series will stream on ITVX and broadcast on ITV1.
The selected farmers represent diverse backgrounds and ages:
- Dana, 24, from Stirlingshire: A determined farmer and part-time wedding dress model seeking someone who can embrace Scottish countryside life.
- George, 29, from Wrexham: An organic livestock farmer managing 1,500 acres who wants to start a family while continuing his sustainable farming practices.
- Guy, 29, from Wiltshire: A rugged suckler farmer with a self-deprecating sense of humour ready to find romantic companionship.
- Chris, 68, from Yorkshire: A widower who returned to farming after losing his wife to cancer three years ago, now hoping to find new companionship.
Hogan's Personal Life and Relationship
While Hogan will be guiding others toward romantic connections, she has been clear about her own relationship status with Clarkson. Despite their nearly decade-long partnership, she revealed last year that marriage isn't a priority for the couple.
The pair first met at a party, with Hogan admitting she had long admired Clarkson's writing before their relationship began. "I thought he was bright – and probably amusing. And I think he thought I'd be amusing," she recalled of their initial meeting.
Both have three children from previous relationships who reportedly get along well, and Hogan has expressed contentment with their current arrangement, describing them as "being together 24/7" without formalising their union through marriage.
Promotional Activities and Future Plans
Hogan and the four participating farmers will appear on This Morning on Tuesday, 21 April to discuss the series and their search for love. The show has established social media presence across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook under the handle @farmforlove.
Prospective participants interested in dating the farmers can apply through Countryside Dating, with the series promising to showcase both the romantic possibilities and practical realities of agricultural life in contemporary Britain.
