Cruz Beckham and Jackie Apostel explored the sights in New York as they enjoyed a shopping trip in Soho on Friday. The singer, 21, and his songwriter girlfriend, 30, were spotted buying movie and TV scripts, one of which also included a Friends book.
For the outing, Cruz wore a brightly coloured striped jumper, which he layered over light blue jeans. He completed his relaxed ensemble with a pair of black Converse and accessorised his look with a gold chain. Meanwhile, Jackie stepped out in a brown vest top, white jeans and toted her belongings around in a green suede bag and a brown fur coat.
It comes after Cruz reached out to his estranged brother Brooklyn again on social media after their mother Victoria addressed the family's 'challenging' year in a new interview. Cruz threw an olive branch to his older sibling as he shared a sweet throwback photo with Brooklyn, 27, and Romeo, 23, from their childhood.
Brooklyn cut ties with his family in a scathing social media statement in January, where he declared he has no plans to reconcile with his famous parents and accusing them of 'controlling him for most of his life'. Cruz shared a photo of himself and his two brothers in matching white shirts on Instagram despite being blocked by Brooklyn.
The youngest son of David and Victoria has tried to reach out to his older brother in recent months, telling him: 'I love you' on Instagram on his birthday. While last month, Cruz became emotional on stage as he sang Loneliest Boy. The song is believed to be about his estranged sibling as the lyrics include: 'Loneliest boy, mama don't talk too much, it's breaking her heart.'
A concert-goer told The Mirror at the time: 'At one point during the song, he seemed overcome with emotion as his bandmate put his arm around his shoulder and affectionately ruffled his hair.' Earlier this month, Victoria addressed her 'challenging' past year amid the family feud.
When asked on the Today show by hosts Jenna Bush Hager and Sheinelle Jones about the tumultuous recent time for the family, Victoria, 52, didn't specifically reference her son, 27, but said she will 'always protect' her kids. Jenna directly asked her in the interview: 'You have had a pretty public challenging year - we have talked about it on this show. How do you get through the tough times?'
She replied: 'You know, myself and David, we're so close and we have incredible people around us. We're close to my parents and David's parents. We support each other through everything that we do. We love our children so much and have always really focused on protecting our children. But we laugh a lot. David Beckham is really, super funny.'
