Lily Allen, 40, was pictured soaking up the sun in a green checked swimsuit while reading Lena Dunham's novel Famesick in a series of Instagram snaps shared on Saturday. The singer, currently touring the United States following the release of her album West End Girl, looked stunning as she lounged poolside on a sunbed.
Poolside Style
She paired her one-piece swimsuit with a matching bucket hat and accessorised with black-tinted sunglasses. In another photo, she showcased a leopard-print vest top combined with blue jeans and a green fur jacket. The star appeared in high spirits, playfully dancing in Miu Miu heels and 90s-inspired sunglasses. A more relaxed image showed her in a blue-and-white T-shirt paired with a yellow skirt.
Teasing Her Location
Lily teased her followers with the caption: 'Where am I ?', hinting at her holiday destination. This post follows her recent $50,000 cash splurge on diamond jewellery at Ice Box jewellers in Atlanta earlier this month, just hours before a performance. She paid with wads of cash carried in her $14,000 Hermès Birkin handbag, while wearing $500 YSL sunglasses. The purchases included a $15,000 tennis bracelet, $25,000 earrings, and a $20,000 gift for a friend. The total came to $54,450 with taxes, but the salesman accepted $50,000 cash.
Spending Addiction Therapy
Lily's shopping spree comes after she revealed she was undergoing therapy for a spending addiction. In December, she disclosed that she had been receiving eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy for four months. According to the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, EMDR helps individuals recover from past experiences affecting mental health, using side-to-side eye movements combined with talk therapy to process traumatic memories.
Her album West End Girl marked her return to music after a seven-year hiatus, recorded in just ten days following her split from ex-husband David Harbour in December 2024, reportedly due to his infidelity.
