Coronation Street's Georgia Taylor claps back at tattoo troll
Corrie star's four-word clapback to tattoo troll

Coronation Street actress Georgia Taylor has delivered a perfect four-word clapback to an online troll who attempted to mock her significant new body art.

The Instagram Revelation

The Toyah Battersby star, who first appeared on the ITV soap in 1997, recently delighted her 104,000 Instagram followers by revealing her stunning new floral-inspired tattoo. Georgia shared a series of posts from her visit to the newly established @tiger_heron_tattoo parlour, where she praised artists Sarah and Paul for creating a "gorgeously chilled, safe and inclusive space."

In her caption, the actress wrote warmly about her experience, stating: "Sarah, thank you for decorating my body so beautifully, as always." While most fans responded with enthusiastic compliments about the intricate design, one sceptical follower questioned the tattoo's authenticity with the comment: "Please tell me that's not real."

Georgia's Defiant Response

Rather than ignoring the negative remark, Georgia Taylor responded directly and definitively. The Coronation Street legend fired back with a simple yet powerful four-word retort: "Of course it's real."

This wasn't the only critical comment the actress received, with another troll leaving a rude remark that has since been removed from the platform. Addressing this second critic, Georgia delivered an even more pointed response, stating: "What a f****** weird thing to say. Maybe I'm having a midlife awakening."

Overwhelming Fan Support

Despite the negative comments, the overwhelming majority of responses celebrated Georgia's new body art. One enthusiastic fan commented: "It's beautiful just like you," while another wrote: "Absolutely beautiful darling." A third supporter expressed genuine admiration, stating: "I'm having serious tattoo envy right now. I need to get mine booked in. That's lovely."

Georgia Taylor has portrayed Toyah Battersby on Coronation Street since 1997, alongside Jane Danson who plays her on-screen sister Leanne. Her character has navigated numerous dramatic storylines over the years, including a shocking rape incident and the heartbreaking death of her husband Imran Habeeb.

More recently, Toyah has faced ovarian cancer and an affair with Leanne's partner Nick Tilsey, though the sisters have since reconciled following the return of Eva Price. Away from Weatherfield's drama, Georgia continues to share glimpses of her personal life with followers, demonstrating the same confidence and resilience she displayed in her clapback against online critics.
