Bridgerton Season 4 Trailer Unveils Benedict's Cinderella-Inspired Romance
Bridgerton Season 4 Trailer Teases Cinderella Love Story

Netflix has unveiled a captivating first look at the upcoming fourth season of its global phenomenon, Bridgerton, teasing a classic Cinderella-inspired love story for one of the ton's most eligible bachelors.

A Bohemian Viscount's Son Meets His Mystery Maid

The new two-and-a-half-minute trailer centres on Benedict Bridgerton, portrayed by Luke Thompson. Known for his bohemian spirit and reluctance to settle, Benedict's world is turned upside down after a fateful encounter at a masquerade ball hosted by his mother, Violet Bridgerton (Ruth Gemmell). There, he meets and dances with a captivating stranger in a silver empire gown, only for her to flee as the clock strikes midnight, leaving behind a single glove.

Benedict becomes determined to find the owner of the glove, launching a search for the maid he knows as Sophie, played by Australian actress Yerin Ha. Unbeknownst to him, Sophie had disguised herself to attend the high-society event. "He does not want to find me," Sophie's voice is heard saying in the teaser, "he wants to find the lady in the silver gown, and she is not real."

Returning Favourites and Royal Gossip

The series, narrated as always by Dame Julie Andrews as the elusive Lady Whistledown, will see the return of numerous fan favourites. The trailer opens with Queen Charlotte demanding "great gossip" from Penelope Bridgerton (Nicola Coughlan), who secretly pens the scandalous pamphlets.

Other confirmed returning cast members include Jonathan Bailey as Anthony, Adjoa Andoh as Lady Danbury, Claudia Jessie as Eloise, Luke Newton as Colin, and Simone Ashley as Kate Bridgerton. The new season follows the critically acclaimed third series, which focused on the romance between Penelope and Colin, earning a BAFTA nomination for its iconic carriage scene.

Release Schedule and Story Arcs

The latest series of Bridgerton will be released in two parts, each comprising four episodes. Part one is scheduled to arrive on Netflix on 29 January 2026, with part two following on 26 February 2026.

This narrative continues the show's pattern of adapting Julia Quinn's beloved book series, with season two focusing on Anthony and Kate's love story, and season one depicting the marriage of Daphne (Phoebe Dynevor) and Simon (Rege-Jean Page). The upcoming season promises to deliver the lavish costumes, intricate societal drama, and sweeping romance that has made the series a worldwide hit.
