Amanda Holden looked absolutely stunning as she posed ahead of the first Britain's Got Talent live semi-final on Saturday. The 55-year-old judge wore a bronze metallic mini dress by LouBe, featuring a dramatic train and a fitted bodice that laced down the back. She paired the gown with see-through stilettos and styled her hair into tousled curls.
Instagram Snaps and Caption
Posing before the episode, Amanda kicked back on a sun lounger to showcase her outfit, sharing the photos on Instagram. She captioned the update: 'Booked, busy…lying down. 1ST BGT LIVE.' The TV personality was joined by her adorable pet pooch for the photoshoot.
Golden Buzzer Moment
During the episode, singer Matty Juniosa won his second Golden Buzzer after an incredible performance, joining Anastasiia and dog Salsa in the final. However, fans claimed the surprise was ruined. Matty had previously earned Simon Cowell's Golden Buzzer with his rendition of Prince's 'Purple Rain.' This time, Amanda Holden announced: 'I said to the producers what happens if I don't give out my Golden Buzzer? and they said, "Well it goes to the audience." I wasn't going to let it go to the audience,' before hitting the button.
Simon added: 'Your range is incredible and you are the sweetest person. Two Golden Buzzers that isn't bad is it. I'm so happy for you.' But fans saw the move coming, as Matty was the evening's final act. Sharing their thoughts on X, they wrote: 'So I assume Amanda is going to golden buzzer the next act if it's the last one? Hope it's not s*** or that's a waste of a final spot.' Others commented: 'Considering that the golden buzzer has been left untouched until now, I think we all saw this coming.'
Fan Reactions and Finalists
Some fans expressed frustration: 'What a coincidence they save the best till last and now Amanda has to give him the Golden Buzzer again when she could of used it for someone who never got one.' Another added: 'Do the judges press their Golden Buzzer at the end now? Otherwise Amanda has to be put the singer through and he's the last act of the night.' After the public vote, it was revealed that Matty would be joined in the final by Anastasiia & Salsa, who performed a routine to Myles Smith's 'Stargazing.' Matty's first Golden Buzzer was awarded earlier in the series after his powerful rendition of 'Purple Rain.'
