Prince William, 40, and Prince Harry, 38, have both demonstrated physical prowess over the years, with Harry serving two tours in Afghanistan and William as a full-time pilot for the East Anglian Air Ambulance. While the royals have not officially confirmed their diet and exercise routines, health coach Amanda Place shared her insights exclusively with Express.co.uk.
According to Place, Harry likely has the most varied diet, rich in fruit and vegetables, possibly influenced by his wife Meghan Markle. The couple are rarely seen with fast food, preferring kale and green smoothies. In contrast, William opts for traditional dishes like steak or roast chicken and has a known sweet tooth for chocolate biscuit cake, a royal favourite he chose for his 2011 wedding.
Place suggests Harry's move to California may have improved his diet, ditching pizza for high-protein, low-sugar meals with plenty of produce. Regarding exercise, William follows the Royal Canadian Air Force 5BX plan, an 11-minute routine of five moves, also used by his father and grandfather. Harry, with more time since stepping back from royal duties, likely maintains army-level fitness through strength training with barbells, dumbbells, and boxing.
Harry demonstrated his agility on James Corden's show, completing an obstacle course with ease. Place notes that while Harry met army standards like running 2km in 11 minutes 15 seconds, he is no longer required to maintain them but appears to do so voluntarily. She believes Harry is currently the fitter of the two brothers.
Former royal chef Darren McGrady revealed that as children, both princes enjoyed crispy skin-on chicken with mac and cheese, simply prepared with salt and roasted.
