Prince Harry's Snowy Polo Break: Meghan's Three-Word Verdict
Meghan's three-word remark on Harry's solo polo holiday

The Duke of Sussex has been spotted enjoying a surprise sporting getaway in the United States, while his wife Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, offered a characteristically playful response from home.

Harry's Snowy Polo Adventure in Aspen

Prince Harry has swapped the Californian sun for the snowy slopes of Aspen, Colorado, where he is participating in the prestigious World Snow Polo Championships. The royal was photographed in the thick of a competitive match, showcasing his equestrian skills against a stunning wintry backdrop.

For the occasion, Harry sported a smart casual look, wearing a blue pullover, white trousers, and a black riding helmet. He completed the outfit with a pair of black sunglasses as he expertly manoeuvred his brown horse across the snow-dusted pitch. He was joined by his close friend and fellow polo enthusiast, Nacho Figueras.

Meghan's Playful Social Media Nod

While the trip appears to be a boys' holiday, with Meghan remaining at the family's Montecito home with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, she was clearly keeping a close eye on events. The Duchess took to Instagram to share a photograph of her husband in action, captioning the snap with a simple, three-word remark: "Oh, hello there."

The light-hearted comment has been interpreted as a sign of her approval and affectionate support for Harry's sporting passion, despite not being there in person. The post quickly garnered attention from royal watchers and fans alike.

Major Update for the Invictus Games

In a separate but significant development for the Duke's charitable work, The Invictus Games Foundation has announced a major step in planning for the future. The organisation has revealed a shortlist of three candidate cities hoping to host the inspirational sporting event in 2029.

The cities still in the running are Aalborg in Denmark, Daejeon in South Korea, and San Diego in the United States. Other notable proposals from the Veneto Region in Italy, Abuja in Nigeria, and Kyiv in Ukraine were also considered. The final host city selection is scheduled to be unveiled in the summer of 2026.

Founded by Prince Harry, the Invictus Games uses the power of sport to inspire recovery, support rehabilitation, and generate a wider understanding and respect for wounded, injured, and sick servicemen and women.
