Adam Thomas, currently appearing on I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!, has faced rows with fellow campmates Dereck 'Daye' Hoye and Jimmy Bullard. However, he is not the first of his brothers to be embroiled in reality TV controversy.
In 2018, his older brother Ryan Thomas was at the centre of 'punchgate' on Celebrity Big Brother. Ryan, 41, was playfully shadow-boxing with Roxanne Pallett, lightly tapping her side. Pallett later accused him of deliberately punching her, saying she felt 'hurt' and 'scared'. Ryan was formally warned by producers and broke down in tears defending himself.
When the full footage aired, viewers sided with Ryan, accusing Pallett of exaggerating. On eviction night, the live audience chanted 'Get Roxanne out!'. Pallett later admitted she had made a 'terrible mistake', saying her allegations were 'massively wrong'. Ofcom received 25,327 complaints about the incident. Ryan went on to win the series.
Years later, Ryan said he felt sorry for Pallett, noting that the show can be a 'lonely and scary place'. He added: 'We move on.'
Their brother Scott Thomas found fame on Love Island in 2016, finishing third. He returned for Love Island: All Stars in 2025, where he clashed with Luca Bish. After a heated argument and a dare kiss from Luca, Scott quit the villa, saying he had not found a romantic connection.
