Scarlett Moffatt Excited for I'm A Celebrity South Africa Reunion

Scarlett Moffatt has shared her enthusiasm for returning to the I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here franchise, this time for the all-stars series filmed in South Africa. The 35-year-old television personality, who first gained fame on Gogglebox before winning the main show in 2016, is set to compete alongside notable figures including actor Adam Thomas and soap star Beverley Callard.

Ant & Dec Reunion and Heartwarming Memories

Moffatt, who previously collaborated with presenting duo Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly on ITV's Saturday Night Takeaway, expressed her eagerness to reunite with them. "I cannot wait to give them a big hug," she said, recalling their kindness when she first moved to London.

"When I first moved to London, they were so lovely and asked me what I missed most about being away from home," Moffatt explained. "I said: 'Sunday dinners with the family'. They invited me round a few times to have dinner. They are lovely people." She added, "They say 'don't meet your heroes', but when your heroes are them it's OK."

Gemma Collins Hailed as an Icon

In addition to her excitement about Ant & Dec, Moffatt revealed that one of her ideal campmates would be reality star Gemma Collins, who appeared on the show in 2014 but left after three days due to struggles with the environment. Moffatt praised Collins as an "icon" and suggested she deserves another chance.

"She left early and I feel it is always good when people don't finish something to then give them another chance," Moffatt said. Collins, a former star of The Only Way Is Essex, is confirmed to be among the contestants in the pre-recorded second series of I'm A Celebrity... South Africa.

Other Contestants Share Their Anticipation

Adam Thomas, who competed alongside Moffatt in 2016 and finished third, shared his excitement about reuniting with old faces. "Life is for living and I'm really looking forward to experiencing the show all over again," the 37-year-old actor said. He humorously noted that despite promising his wife he wouldn't leave her again for the jungle, he's back for more.

Beverley Callard, 68, expressed relief at the warmer climate in South Africa compared to her previous experience in Wales during the 2020 series, where her bedroom temperature dropped to "minus one degree." Similarly, Olympian Mo Farah, 42, recalled the cold conditions in Wales and welcomed the sunny, warm environment of South Africa.
