Jack Osbourne's Last-Minute I'm A Celeb Entry Revealed
Jack Osbourne's last-minute I'm A Celeb entry

In a surprising revelation, Jack Osbourne has confirmed his participation in this year's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! was a last-minute decision, with the reality star learning he was joining the show just ten days before heading to Australia.

From Beverly Hills to the Australian Jungle

The 40-year-old media personality, who rose to fame alongside his family on the MTV hit The Osbournes, becomes one of the most recognisable faces in the 2025 lineup. Despite his late addition, bookmakers have already positioned him as an early favourite to win the entire competition.

Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, Osbourne explained his whirlwind preparation: 'I only knew I was coming out here like 10 days ago. So it was literally 10 days.' The father-of-four made the most of his final days of freedom by indulging in his favourite comforts, specifically mentioning chocolate digestives and Pot Noodles as his pre-jungle treats.

Navigating Personal Boundaries After Loss

The Osbourne family continues to mourn the passing of Black Sabbath legend Ozzy Osbourne, who died in July at age 76. Jack has established a strict boundary with show producers regarding his father's relatively recent passing.

'I won't stray away from too many things,' Jack stated, 'but there are certain things that I probably won't discuss on a nationally televised TV show that's filmed 24/7.' This careful approach comes despite Ozzy's well-documented health struggles in his later years.

Jack previously reflected on his father's final days, recalling a touching moment before Ozzy's farewell concert in Birmingham just 17 days before his death. 'Before he went onstage, I ran back into the dressing room and I just gave him a big hug,' he shared on Good Morning America. 'I just kissed him. I just said, 'Crush it. You're gonna do so good'.'

Family Support and Jungle Challenges

Osbourne enters the jungle with the full backing of his famous family, including mother Sharon and sister Kelly. 'Mum and Kelly, they are absolutely going to be watching. They are supportive,' he confirmed.

However, the decision to participate wasn't easy. Jack leaves behind his wife Lisa and their four daughters - aged 13, 10, seven, and three - in Beverly Hills. He acknowledged the difficulty of separation, particularly amid ongoing family grief: 'It's absolutely going to be hard leaving them behind. I have got lots of kids, my wife, and my family still in the wake of my dad passing. It is going to be difficult, that is for sure.'

The reality star identified the psychological challenges as potentially the most demanding aspect of the experience. 'It's probably the time alone [that will be the toughest]... you're at that kind of intense environment with a group of strangers being asked to do some pretty insane things.'

Despite the challenges, Osbourne found the concept intriguing, describing the show as 'like a really f***ed up social experiment.' He joins an all-star lineup including Spandau Ballet's Martin Kemp, model Kelly Brook, and former footballer Alex Scott.

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! debuts at 9pm on Sunday on ITV and ITVX. The identity of the celebrity Jack replaced remains undisclosed.
