Katie Price has revealed details of her first phone call with missing husband Lee Andrews, whom she has dubbed 'the most hated man in Britain'. The former glamour model tracked down her fourth husband after he was found in a Dubai jail, where he is currently incarcerated.
How Katie Found Lee
On her podcast released Thursday, Katie gushed: 'Today was the day, which is why I'm happy, Lee has been found. Alive. Woop.' After an audible sigh from sister Sophie, Katie explained: 'All I know is that, they thought he was a spy so he was interrogated.' Sophie joked if they thought he was James Bond, before sternly saying her sister's man is certainly not her type. Katie thanked the police and foreign embassy for their support, calling the ordeal 'a worry'.
The Phone Call
Katie said she only got to talk to Lee for one minute and was told he was interrogated and had a hood on him. 'That's all I know,' she said. 'Oh, I did ask him. He hasn't been on his phone. He hasn't had his phone. He's been interrogated. They've gone through his phone, so they've been mucking about on his phone. It's not been Lee. He hasn't got his phone.' Sophie asked about another woman Lee followed, but Katie denied Lee was behind this, explaining: 'What happened with that other woman was apparently she activated her account and maybe she followed Lee or Lee followed her years ago. They've never exchanged messages or nothing. So she's blocked him and that's why it's gone back.'
'Most Hated Man'
Katie joked to her man that he is now 'the most hated man in Britain'. She revealed Lee was shocked, and she told him: 'Trust me, you are the most hated man in Britain. Everyone thinks this is a scam.' She said Lee asked if she thought he was dead, and she explained it was on her mind as she didn't have a clue what was going on. But she said the 'public deserve' to know what has gone on and is ready to demand her husband does a sit-down interview to reveal all.
New Career Plans
Katie then said she would make a 'good detective' after tracking down Lee. 'You know I've wanted to be a paramedic,' she told her sister. 'I might try and be a detective. They said 'it's not the same kind of money Kate, but...'' They said I've helped so much, the way I think of about things and giving them clues which they obviously know from intelligence, that they actually said 'do you know what Kate, we do a lot of these cases and you would be a good detective yourself'.
