Christy Turlington, 57, Shows Off Gray Hair Streak

Nineties supermodel Christy Turlington, now 57, has debuted a striking gray hair streak. The iconic Vogue cover girl was seen sporting a silver streak in her locks as she walked her two black-and-white dogs alone in New York City.

Casual and Makeup-Free

The former top catwalker went completely makeup-free, dressed casually in a blue denim jacket paired with white slacks and sunglasses perched on her head. This natural look aligns with her longstanding preference for aging gracefully without cosmetic interventions.

Embracing Natural Aging

The wife of filmmaker Ed Burns has previously stated she does not want plastic surgery or injections, opting instead to age naturally. Despite this, she remains active in the fashion industry and recently became a Global Ambassador for Lancome Paris.

Skincare Routine Revealed

Turlington shared her simple yet effective skincare regimen with Harper's Bazaar magazine. She emphasized consistency and reliability in her products.

"I mean, it's pretty simple. I wash my face in the morning and moisturize a lot," she explained. "Sometimes I'll even double moisturize, because especially at this time of year, I get dry skin. And then, I'll add a nice little layer of foundation, some blush, and mascara, and that's kind of it, I'm on my way ..."

Her favorite products include Lancome's Rénergie moisturizer and Teint Idole foundation. She noted, "I love consistency, and I love reliability, and Rénergie is the best cream moisturizer situation going."

Daily Habits for Youthful Skin

The model also highlighted the importance of sleep and exercise. "A good night's sleep or a run or something where I'm moving my body helps. Also, again, a bit of moisturizer in the morning wakes me up, makes me feel a little bit fresher, and a little bit goes a long way," she said.

Embracing Age with Optimism

Turlington expressed contentment with her aging process. "I think it's important to embrace every age, right? The alternative is not that exciting, so staying optimistic and trying your best to be your best self at any time in your life is a good way to live," she told Harper's Bazaar.

She added, "I don't think there's anything I've grown to like more as I've aged, but I definitely feel like I've changed a lot. It's funny how your own appearance can change so much, and I don't think about it as changing until I see some old image come up in my feed. But I'm mostly happy with the way that I've aged. I can see my mom in myself and myself in my mom, which is nice, because my mom is 86 and she still looks good. So I feel like: 'Okay, that's reassuring, if I take care of myself, I should be okay.' It's kind of fun to see how you change, change is good."

Beyond Modeling

In addition to her modeling career, Turlington is an activist and maternal health advocate. She founded Every Mother Counts (EMC), a non-profit organization dedicated to improving maternal health and reducing maternal mortality. She rose to fame in the late 1980s and early 1990s, representing brands like Calvin Klein and Maybelline, and appearing on over 500 magazine covers.
