Kirk, who was reportedly in the audience, made his way to the stage and confronted Martin mid-performance. Eyewitnesses say Kirk shouted at Martin, accusing him of being out of touch with real fans. Martin, visibly taken aback, attempted to defuse the situation by asking security to escort Kirk off stage.
The confrontation lasted only a few minutes before Kirk was removed. The concert continued with other performers, including Liam Gallagher and Dave Chappelle, paying tribute to Hawkins. Neither Martin nor Kirk have commented on the incident.
