MAFS UK's Bailey confirms split from Rebecca

In a shocking turn of events, one of Married At First Sight UK's most beloved couples has called it quits. Bailey, who was paired with Rebecca on the hit Channel 4 show, has confirmed their relationship is over just days after viewers saw their romantic reunion on screen.

The Heartbreaking Announcement

Bailey, a father-of-one, shared the devastating news with his followers on Instagram on November 16, 2025. Posting a heartfelt statement, he revealed that despite their strong connection during the experiment, their relationship couldn't survive in the real world.

"Unfortunately it's time to share that Bec and I are no longer together," Bailey wrote. "We tried our best to navigate life after the experiment, and although we spent a lot of great time together on the outside, unfortunately the relationship came to an end."

Addressing False Allegations and Taking Responsibility

The reality star didn't shy away from confronting rumours that had been circulating since their split. He specifically addressed allegations of infidelity that had plagued him since the show began airing.

"I want to make it very clear, I never cheated on Bec at any point," Bailey stated emphatically. "I didn't handle our break up well and for that I'm truly sorry to Bec, but I was completely loyal the whole way through our relationship."

He acknowledged his own imperfections in the relationship's downfall, adding: "I'm not perfect, I don't claim to be and I take responsibility for my part in why the relationship didn't work."

Dealing with the Aftermath

Bailey admitted that watching their love story unfold again during the show's broadcast had been particularly difficult to endure. "I won't lie, watching us fall in love all over again on screen has been ridiculously hard to go through and it's something I'm still struggling with now," he confessed.

Despite the pain of their separation, Bailey expressed nothing but love and respect for his former wife. "I still have a lot of love for Bec and I'm grateful for the amazing relationship we shared. I had fallen for Bec completely and it really was a true love story," he shared.

The couple, who had been dubbed the experiment's "strongest couple" by viewers and experts alike, had previously shared countless happy moments together both during and after filming. Bailey concluded his emotional statement by saying: "Making the decision to end things was heartbreaking and not a decision that I took lightly. I'm still heartbroken, but I wish Bec all the best and I always will."
