Strictly Come Dancing professional Neil Jones has shared the heartbreaking news of his father's passing in an emotional social media post.
An Emotional Final Farewell
The BBC dancer took to Instagram on Thursday, November 13, to reveal he had bid a final goodbye to his beloved father. Jones posted a collection of black and white photographs alongside a touching message that moved his followers.
"Yesterday I said goodbye to my Dad for the final time," the dancer wrote. He continued with a poignant reflection: "I thought I knew my dad but yesterday I realised I didn't after hearing so many lovely and funny stories from family and his closest friends."
Neil added a comforting thought about how his father would be looking down on them, suggesting he "would be smiling looking down with a pint in his hand." He concluded his emotional tribute by thanking Wendy and everyone involved for making it a special day, ending with the simple words: "RIP DAD."
