Korean Parents Try Full English Breakfast: One Item Is 'Bang On'
Korean Parents' Verdict on Full English Breakfast

A classic Full English breakfast has been put to the ultimate taste test by a pair of Korean parents, with one particular item receiving a rapturous 'bang on' verdict. The heartwarming culinary experiment, shared online, offers a fresh perspective on Britain's beloved fry-up.

The Fry-Up Face-Off

The woman behind the social media account Crazy Korean Cooking decided to cook a traditional Full English from scratch for her parents. The expansive plate, presented in a video shared on Facebook, initially prompted a joke from her father, who exclaimed, "They eat so much!" The cook noted she was happy with the results, though her baked beans had reduced a little too much during cooking.

The meal, typically featuring bacon, sausage, beans, black pudding, tomato, mushrooms, and fried bread, was met with intrigue and delight. The mother tried black pudding for the first time, finding it "interesting" and remarking she had never tasted anything like it before, even comparing its appearance to chocolate. Her father, however, enjoyed the tasty chunks of fat within it.

The Standout Star

While the bacon was declared "well done" and the sausages "delicious", it was the humble fried bread that stole the show. Upon trying it mixed with egg, the mother enthusiastically declared it "bang on". Her father was so amazed he dropped his fork, later growling with approval as he piled egg yolk, mushroom, beans, and sausage onto a slice.

"Delicious for real," he stated, clearly overwhelmed by the flavour combination. After tasting the baked beans, he mused, "British people must eat really well."

A Korean Culinary Fusion

Not content to stop at the traditional plate, the parents then decided to add a Korean twist to the British institution. They excitedly brought out kimchi – the iconic Korean side dish of fermented vegetables – and tried it with various components of the fry-up.

This fusion, while far from traditional, was a hit. Kimchi, known for its gut-health properties and tangy, spicy flavour, provided a contrasting punch to the rich, greasy elements of the Full English. The experiment proved that culinary borders are made to be crossed, earning a definitive thumbs-up from the adventurous duo.

The charming video, shared on 17 December 2025, highlights the universal joy of food discovery and the surprising connections that can be made over a shared meal, even one as famously British as a full fry-up.
