Ibiza Superclubs to Host Landmark Art Exhibition
Ibiza's world-renowned superclubs are set to be transformed into art galleries for the upcoming summer season. Award-winning nightlife venues UNVRS, Hï Ibiza, and Ushuaïa Ibiza will launch the first annual Ibiza art expo, named Culture Collective. This event is expected to be Europe's largest public art exhibition and aims to reinvent the traditional gallery format.
The three superclubs, owned and operated by The Night League, will showcase artworks from more than 70 international artists from this weekend until mid-October. The expo has been organized in collaboration with W1 Curates, a leading UK-based art collective. The artworks will be unveiled for the first time on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 April at the clubs' opening parties, with thousands of visitors expected to attend this weekend alone.
Exhibition Highlights
The season-long art showcase will be spread across vast spaces within the three venues. Highlights include an open-air immersive gallery at Hï Ibiza featuring a 70-meter-long digital work by Sir Michael Craig-Martin and photography by David LaChapelle, known for directing Gwen Stefani's music video for "Rich Girl." The exterior of Hï Ibiza will display two 10-meter-high murals by artists PichiAvo from Valencia and UK artist Epod. The entrance will be transformed with a large-scale artwork combining physical painting and projection mapping to create a lifelike digital animation sequence.
UNVRS, the world's first hyperclub and voted best club in the world in 2026, will exhibit a 68-square-meter stone engraving above its entrance, featuring 6-meter-tall faces framed by a gigantic Supermoon. Additional exclusive art pieces will be added throughout the season.
Talks and Events
On 8 and 9 May, The Night League and W1 Curates will present a series of talks, panels, and events. Tickets for the Culture Collective Ibiza art weekend cost €150 (£130) and include access to all nine panel talks on various art-focused subjects. The ticket also grants entry to club nights at Hï Ibiza on Friday 8 May for CamelPhat presents Summer of Love, and ANTS Day & Night at both Ushuaïa Ibiza and UNVRS on Saturday 9 May.
Vision Behind the Expo
The art expo has been in development for two years, curated and organized by London-based artist Mark Dale of W1 Curates in partnership with Yann Pissenem of The Night League. Mark Dale stated: "The intention for Culture Collective is to make art more accessible and showcase world-class art directly in front of a massive global audience. We're taking art to the masses and re-inventing the concept of the 'traditional' gallery, placing artworks in much more vibrant and dynamic settings and connecting cultures. Ibiza has long been a global crossroads of creative energy, and by transforming the world's most iconic club venues into living canvases, we are redefining how art is experienced—making it immersive, immediate, and powerfully unifying."
Yann Pissenem added: "At The Night League, our venues are more than clubs. They are cultural canvases where music, art, and creativity come together to create shared moments of discovery. Through our collaboration with W1 Curates, we are proud to welcome world-class artists into spaces where diverse international audiences gather each season to connect, explore, and encounter creativity in unexpected ways."
W1 Curates has been running a public art exhibition in London's Oxford Street for the past seven years, using huge digital screens wrapped around a three-storey fashion store to display works by leading global contemporary artists. That installation is the largest permanent public art platform in Europe.
