Reality TV star and podcaster Vogue Williams has lifted the lid on a fellow celebrity's spectacular meltdown after being eliminated from a survival show, branding their behaviour "ridiculous".
The 'Filthy Little Strop' Behind the Scenes
Williams, who recently became the third contestant voted out of ITV's I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! 2025 on Monday, 1st December, has reflected on her earlier career break. She shot to fame by winning Bear Grylls: Mission Survive in 2015, a gruelling 12-day celebrity survival expedition. However, in her book 'Big Mouth', she reveals not all contestants shared her resilient attitude.
"Some of them on that show were just ridiculous," Williams stated. "I'm not here to name names but one person threw a filthy little strop for being thrown off the show, went back to the hotel and cleared out the entire mini bar in a fit of spite. GET A GRIP."
Embracing the Challenge for Career Advancement
For Williams, the show was a serious career opportunity she was determined to win. "On Bear Grylls: Mission Survive I drank my own p*ss, ate live scorpions and roasted rats on the fire – all in the name of TV," she recalled. "There wasn't much I wouldn't do to win that show and advance my career. Warm p*ss? YES PLEASE!"
She contrasted her own approach with the unnamed star's tantrum, explaining she was always prepared to look "semi-foolish" to learn and progress. "How could I learn from anything if I didn't try stuff out?" she added, emphasising the experience was about resilience.
From the Jungle to Family Life
Williams' revelations come fresh from her exit from the I'm A Celebrity jungle, where she found herself in the bottom two with model Kelly Brook. Her departure followed comedian Eddie Kadi's exit on Sunday and sports broadcaster Alex Scott's on Friday night.
After leaving, the 40-year-old was greeted by her agent, Louisa McDonald. Her husband, Made in Chelsea star Spencer Matthews, was unable to be in Australia as he is competing in an Ironman competition in Brazil. The couple, married since 2018, share three children: Theodore, seven, Gigi, five, and Otto, two.
Williams also hinted at tensions within the camp before her exit, commenting: "Ginge and Aitch are a bit resistant to their chores. I don't really understand the whole cup-gate. I just turned into what I'm like at home."
