TV and radio presenter Vick Hope has offered her followers a heartwarming and rare look into her private family life with superstar DJ Calvin Harris and their young son. The 36-year-old shared a series of festive photographs on Instagram this Saturday, capturing the joy of their first Christmas as a family of three.
A Joyful First Christmas as a Family
Vick, who welcomed son Micah with Calvin, 42, in July last year, appeared radiant and happier than ever in the candid holiday shots. The images celebrated not only their core family unit but also outings with close friends and relatives, including a fun group picture where Vick was seen laughing freely. Alongside the album, she penned a playful caption: 'Twas still the season. Til ‘twasnt'.
The couple, who tied the knot in 2023, had announced Micah's arrival in August via social media, following his birth on July 20. Vick experienced a home water birth at their property in Ibiza, where she had flown after beginning her maternity leave. Calvin marked the occasion by sharing intimate photos, including one of Vick in the birthing pool and a tender shot of himself with newborn Micah.
Building a Family Haven in the Cotswolds
Beyond their island retreat, the family is putting down roots in the British countryside. It is believed that Calvin, one of the world's highest-earning DJs, is creating a luxury estate in the Cotswolds. He is renovating a £3.5million countryside mansion acquired for his wife and son, with plans that previously included a giant play lawn.
Recent reports suggest the project is expanding. A source revealed that Calvin plans to purchase two additional neighbouring properties. One will be completely renovated, while the other will be demolished to make way for a new four-bedroom house featuring a music studio and a granny annex. The vision is for interconnected barns across the estate, drawing comparisons to the Beckhams' nearby Cotswolds setup.
From Superstar DJ to Super Dad
Calvin, whose real name is Adam Wiles, has transitioned from a former supermarket shelf stacker to a global music icon. In 2020, he sold the rights to his back catalogue for a reported £76million. His initial birth announcement for Micah overflowed with admiration for his wife, calling Vick a 'superhero' and expressing being in 'complete awe of her primal wisdom'. He even included a graphic photograph of Vick's placenta, which was later turned into capsules—a practice some choose for postnatal health.
With their son now a toddler, the family's focus seems firmly on creating a nurturing and expansive home environment. The festive snaps and ongoing property developments paint a picture of a couple embracing parenthood and building their future together away from the spotlight.
