Donald Trump Jr's 8-Carat Emerald Engagement Ring for Bettina Anderson Revealed
Trump Jr's 8-Carat Emerald Engagement Ring Unveiled

Bettina Anderson, the fiancée of Donald Trump Jr, has proudly debuted the spectacular engagement ring given to her by the former president's eldest son. The Palm Beach socialite showcased the impressive jewel in a recent social media post, following the couple's official engagement announcement.

A Ring of Rare Distinction

The centrepiece of the ring is a flawless 8-carat emerald-cut diamond, certified as D-colour by the Gemological Institute of America. It is flanked by two half-carat shield-cut diamonds, creating a striking and elegant design. The piece was crafted by renowned Dallas jeweller Sue Gragg of Sue Gragg Precious Jewels, who was personally commissioned by Trump Jr.

Gragg told Forbes she worked closely with the 47-year-old on the design, advising him professionally on the stone's superior quality and certification. She described the ring's polish and symmetry as exceptionally difficult to achieve for an emerald cut, proudly calling it her "favourite celebrity-cut piece" she has ever created.

A Historic Proposal at Camp David

The engagement itself made history, as Trump Jr proposed to Anderson over the weekend at the presidential retreat, Camp David. This marks the first-ever recorded proposal to take place at the famed location. Speaking at the subsequent White House Christmas reception on Monday night, Trump Jr admitted to nerves before popping the question.

"When you go down there, it’s like, you’re gonna go, and you’re trying to ask, and you’re not sure what the answer’s gonna be," he said. "It’s always a little bit rough. But she said yes, which is a big win for the end of the year." This will be Trump Jr's second marriage and follows his split from ex-fiancée Kimberly Guilfoyle last December.

Celebrations at the White House

The couple confirmed their engagement publicly at the White House holiday party, attended by former President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump. Anderson beamed as she thanked the pair for hosting her and expressed her joy at joining the family. "This has really been the most unforgettable weekend of my life, and I get to marry the love of my life, and I feel like the luckiest girl in the world," she said.

Guests at the event, including Dr Mehmet Oz and commentator Laura Loomer, shared their congratulations on social media. Oz posted on X, calling it a "stunning evening" with a "surprise highlight," while Loomer provided a live update announcing the news.

The pair, who were first linked in September 2024 after being photographed kissing in Palm Beach, have been dating for just over a year. Details regarding the wedding date and venue have not yet been confirmed.
