Spencer Matthews Fears 'Dark' Times Apart from Vogue Williams on I'm A Celeb
Spencer Matthews' heartbreak over Vogue Williams' I'm A Celeb stint

While Vogue Williams impresses viewers and campmates alike in the I'm A Celebrity jungle, her husband Spencer Matthews has made a heartbreaking admission about the toll their separation is taking on him.

An Emotional Admission From Spencer

Taking to social media, the former Made In Chelsea star, 37, revealed the profound impact of being apart from his wife. This is the longest we've gone without talking since we've been married, Spencer shared, adding that he feels the silence more than he ever anticipated.

He posted a sweet snap on Instagram with a poignant message, stating: When things get dark and rough for me in this challenge, I think about how incredible our reunion will feel. His challenge is no small feat; he is attempting to complete seven Ironman triathlons across seven continents in just 21 days.

A Postponed Jungle Reunion

This means the couple, who married in 2018 after meeting on the reality show The Jump, will not have the iconic reunion on the I'm A Celebrity bridge when Vogue, 40, eventually leaves the show. The pair are parents to three young children: Theodore, seven, Gigi, five, and Otto, three.

Spencer's heartfelt post continued, You don't realise how much someone fills your world until the silence kicks in. He expressed his immense pride in his wife, watching her smash it in the jungle, and looked forward to their planned end-of-year celebrations together.

Vogue's Jungle Journey

Meanwhile, in the Australian camp, Vogue has been winning over her fellow celebrities. She has bonded with comedian Ruby Wax over cosmetic procedures and maintained her sense of humour during a particularly revolting Bushtucker Trial.

Ahead of her jungle entry, Vogue spoke with The Mirror, revealing her primary concern was missing her family. My only real worry is missing the kids and missing Spencer and missing my family, she confessed, though she described herself as a quite stable person emotionally.

This isn't the Matthews family's first brush with the jungle; Spencer himself was a contestant in 2015 but was forced to make an early exit due to his past steroid use. The couple also recently quashed split rumours that emerged after Spencer stepped away from their joint podcast in January.
