Sharon Osbourne's First Public Outing Since Ozzy's Death in London
Sharon Osbourne's First Appearance After Ozzy's Death

Sharon Osbourne has stepped back into the public eye for the first time since the heartbreaking death of her legendary husband, Ozzy Osbourne. The 73-year-old television personality made a dazzling return to the spotlight on Wednesday, attending a glitzy London event hosted by Rebecca Vallance, with her daughter Kelly, 41, by her side.

A Poignant Public Return

This marked Sharon Osbourne's first public appearance since the Black Sabbath frontman, Ozzy, died of heart failure at his Buckinghamshire home on July 22. The event came just two weeks after Ozzy's poignant farewell concert with his bandmates at Birmingham's Villa Park. As her son Jack remains in the Australian jungle for 'I'm A Celebrity...', living on basic rations, Sharon and Kelly got glammed up for a special cocktail bash at Aki London.

The mother-daughter duo presented a united front, with Sharon seen clutching tightly onto Kelly's hand as they posed for photographs. The widow looked stunning in a glitzy red dress, a bold and powerful choice for such an emotional occasion. Kelly complemented her mother's attire, slipping into an elegant pale pink gown with halterneck detailing.

Star-Studded Support and Family Tributes

Sharon and Kelly were not alone in their first night out. They were joined by a host of star-studded guests including Holly Valance, Amber Le Bon, and Zara Tindall, who offered their support to the grieving family.

This public outing follows a period of immense grief for Sharon. Last month, she was pictured for the first time since Ozzy's funeral, cutting a heartbreaking figure. The rock legend had been battling numerous health issues in his final years, including a serious fall in 2019 at the family home, which saw his condition deteriorate further.

Following his passing, Sharon took to social media to thank fans for the 'overwhelming love and support'. She admitted she had been 'carried through' by those around her, adding she was 'still finding her footing' after losing the husband she often said she lived for.

A Family's Heartache and Final Farewells

Her son Jack recently spoke on Good Morning America, revealing the depth of his mother's grief. 'She's okay, but she's not okay,' he said. 'I know she feels the love.'

The family's emotional journey has been documented in the new BBC One documentary, 'Sharon & Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home'. It charted the self-styled Prince Of Darkness's return to the United Kingdom after more than three decades in the United States with his wife and children.

In the documentary, both Jack and Kelly spoke candidly about their mother's pain during Ozzy's final years, as she nursed him through painful operations and tried to help him. Kelly shared her heartache over watching her mother care for her ailing father. 'I think what's happening to my mum is the most heartbreaking part of this whole thing,' Kelly said. 'And I think that watching the man that she loves most in this world wither is really, really hard.'

The documentary also featured behind-the-scenes footage from his final farewell concert at Villa Park, following his long battle with Parkinson's. Reflecting on that emotional night, Jack described it as a 'living wake', saying he and his brother were crying in the crowd because they knew it was the last time.
