Hollywood star Gwyneth Paltrow made it a family affair at the glittering New York City premiere of her new film, Marty Supreme. The actress was accompanied by her two adult children, often referred to as 'nepo babies,' marking a rare public appearance for the trio.
A Family Affair on the Red Carpet
Paltrow, 51, shared the spotlight with her daughter Apple Martin, 21, and son Moses Martin, 19. The siblings are her children with her first husband, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin. Despite the couple's much-publicised 'conscious uncoupling' in 2014, they have maintained a close co-parenting relationship, which was evident in the children's relaxed and happy demeanour supporting their mother.
Paltrow, who plays a former star actress in the film, embodied Manhattan glamour in a sleek, head-to-toe black ensemble that accentuated her slender frame. Demonstrating a striking family resemblance, her daughter Apple mirrored her style in a matching full-length, raven-toned gown. While Paltrow wore her signature blonde hair loose, Apple opted for a chic updo. The pair glowed side-by-side, their similar features highlighted under the camera flashes.
Star-Studded Premiere for A24's Latest
The premiere celebrated the new A24 picture, Marty Supreme, which stars Timothee Chalamet in a story inspired by the life of an underground ping pong player in 1940s New York. Chalamet continued his distinctive promotional theme, arriving at the event dressed entirely in vibrant orange—a colour he personally suggested as the film's motif.
His guest for the evening was his mother, Nicole Flender, who coordinated with him in an orange outfit. This followed the Los Angeles premiere just one week prior, where he attended with girlfriend Kylie Jenner, quashing split rumours as they posed together in matching orange Chrome Hearts looks.
The red carpet was a hub of celebrity activity. Paltrow was seen warmly greeting her co-star Chalamet, while the trio of Paltrow and her children shared cheerful conversations, radiating familial warmth.
Eclectic Guest List and Fashion Statements
The event drew a diverse crowd from film, music, and business. Other cast members in attendance included Odessa A'Zion, who dazzled in a 1960s-inspired sequined gown, and comedian Sandra Bernhard. Tyler The Creator made a bold fashion statement with a fur cap and beaded necklace.
Notable faces from television also graced the carpet. Fran Drescher, who plays Marty's mother, wore a velvet mermaid dress, while Shark Tank investors Kevin O'Leary, Barbara Corcoran, Robert Herjavec, and Daniel Lubetzky made an appearance. O'Leary notably posed with former co-star Mark Cuban.
The premiere was also a family event for the film's director, Josh Safdie, who attended with his wife and executive producer Sara Rossein. His brother and former co-director, Benny Safdie, was there to show his support. The guest list further included figures like Jack Harlow, Francesca Scorsese, Anna Wintour, Annie Leibovitz, Elvis Costello, and Busy Philipps, creating a truly eclectic and star-studded evening.
