Olivia Attwood's 'Horrendous' Move & Hotel Christmas Plans

Reality TV star and presenter Olivia Attwood has candidly described the "horrendous" process of moving out of her marital home, admitting she "wasn't ready to say goodbye" to the couple's former Cheshire mansion.

An Emotional Farewell to Cheshire

Earlier this month, the 34-year-old revealed she and her footballer husband Bradley Dack, 31, had sold their £1 million property in Cheshire to relocate full-time to their London apartment. The pair had been splitting their time between the two homes for over a year, but found the Cheshire base no longer practical due to Bradley's intense training and match schedule with Gillingham FC.

Speaking about the emotional move on her podcast with Pete Wicks, 'Sunday Roast', Olivia labelled the experience "horrendous". She recounted a chaotic moving day, complicated by a hangover and a complex logistics operation that saw belongings divided between her new central London flat, long-term storage, charity, and the skip.

"I was hanging out my a*se, that is the worst thing, pro tip just don't do that hungover," she joked. "I was literally there and just pointed. That's all I did for six hours. It was horrendous." She added that she hopes to be "fully situated" in her new London place by the end of January.

A Hotel Christmas and a 'Year of Change'

In the wake of the move, with boxes still unpacked and Bradley away with football commitments over the festive period, Olivia has decided to spend Christmas Day itself in a hotel. She explained she needed a "physical" and "mental" break from the disarray of the new apartment.

"I'm staying in London but going to a hotel," she said. "We can't go skiing because of the football... I decided to do a hotel which is just 10 mins from my house. I feel I physically, mentally needed a break from where we're currently living." She plans to spend much of the time solo with her two dogs, Lola and Stitch.

Reflecting on 2025 more broadly, Olivia framed it as a significant "year of change" for her. She told listeners she has "shed" fake friends from her life, a move that follows reported fallout with her former best friend and stylist Ryan Kay. She also cited selling the house she "didn't need", removing facial filler, and changing her hair colour from blonde to ginger as part of her personal transformation.

Addressing Marriage Rumours Head-On

The couple have recently faced speculation about the state of their marriage, which Olivia addressed with humour in a viral Instagram skit. In the video, set to Jason Derulo's 'Watcha Say', a caption over Bradley asked "Are you and Olivia getting a divorce?" before he stormed away from the dinner table.

While happy to joke publicly, Olivia has previously been open about facing challenges. She confessed earlier this year that the pair had experienced a "difficult" six months, admitting both had "f***ed up" at times. Fans praised her candid approach, with many feeling the skit helped quash the divorce rumours.

Regarding the reported rift with former confidant Ryan Kay, sources suggest it may be linked to Bradley's longstanding wariness of the friendship. A source close to Olivia stated that Bradley "has never liked Ryan" and that the two men never communicated separately outside of her.

As Olivia navigates this period of transition—from her home to her friendships—she is embracing the change, even if it means an unconventional Christmas spent in a hotel room, waiting for the boxes to be unpacked and a new chapter to properly begin.
